Easter On Easter morning, the Priest calls out: "CHRIST THE LORD IS RISEN!" and the people respond: "HE IS RISEN, INDEED! ALLELUIA!" This statement of faith has rung out throughout the world for centuries as followers of Christ celebrate the resurrection, or the rebirth, of the crucified Jesus. Easter is about rebirth and redemption, about God restoring all of creation, and about second chances. There is never a time so dark, or a deed so awful, or life so mis-spent that our Creator cannot redeem it in an instant. This Easter season, accept the longing of our Lord's heart and let him love you just as you are. At St. John's, we are far from perfect but we are journeying together toward wholeness.
